When running my farmer, it was working just fine but I am seeing this error occasionally pop up

Error subspace_farmer::plotting] Failed to get block #XXXXXX from RPC: Request timeout

Cause

This issue can have a variety of causes.

  • Slow Disk
  • Lack of CPU power (or shared CPU on VPS that is throttling)
  • Battery Settings slowing things down
  • Temporary load on computer caused by heavy applications

Fix

Just start farmer again, it will continue from where it stopped.
