Make sure your node is running correctly and syncing. Just to try a potential fix, I would suggest restarting your node first, letting it run maybe for a minute or so, and then starting your farmer.
Dl the latest releases. Wiped and purged. Manual deletes file structures. Port opened. Therefore i guess node is running correctly. Farmer still continue to do nothing…
It seems you haven’t downloaded any block yet so that is why your farmer is staying idle. You can just let your node run indeed.
