What’s the Goal?
Your mission is to become a “Network Detective” by discovering and sharing interesting facts, patterns, or unique characteristics about nodes in our network. The key is to be creative - find something intriguing that others might have missed!
How to Participate
- Investigate: Use our network tools to explore node data and find something interesting
- Document: Prepare a clear explanation of what you’ve found and why it’s noteworthy
- Share: Post your discovery in #general-chat with the hashtag #NodeAtlasChallenge
What Makes a Good Discovery?
Think creatively! Your finding could be anything from geographical patterns to technical characteristics, cultural connections, or operational insights. The most important thing is that it tells an interesting story about our network.
Example Categories for Inspiration
Here are some ideas to get you thinking - but don’t limit yourself to these! Create your own categories and surprise us with your discoveries:
“The Lonely Node” - Find the most isolated node
“Node Party Hotspot” - Discover dense node clusters
“Node Time Travelers” - Investigate nodes across the Date Line
“Height Society” - Look at elevation extremes
“Node Neighbors” - Find nodes near famous places
