The Subspace Foundation is thrilled to reintroduce The Contribution Contest! This contest is specifically designed for developers who are passionate about blockchain technology and love a good challenge.
Every month, we’re offering a rewards pool of up to 1,000 USD worth of AI3 tokens for the best merged pull requests contributed to eligible Autonomys projects.

Submission Period: First to the last day of each month

Quality Over Quantity: We value impactful, efficient, and innovative solutions. Your pull request should enhance the project’s functionality, security, or performance

Documentation is Key: Clearly document your code and the problem it solves. Remember, great code is also readable and understandable

Peer Review: Submissions will undergo a review by our engineers. Please be open to their suggestions and make sure to implement all feedback. Only approved and merged PRs are eligible to win!

Rewards and Recognition: The total prize pool for the month is 1,000 USD worth of AI3 tokens. We will reward single or multiple contributions every month. The max prize per contribution is 500 USD worth of AI3!

How to Claim
The competition is ongoing, and we’ll select the winner based on submissions made up to each month’s end in UTC time. This means:

Submissions are evaluated on a monthly basis

The cutoff is the last day of each month at 23:59 UTC

Winners are announced after the monthly evaluation period

Protocol Vulnerability Reports
The Contribution Contest includes rewards for reporting verified vulnerabilities in the Autonomys protocol. To participate, submit your vulnerability report through our GitHub form. All submissions must be original and include evidence documenting the vulnerability. Our engineering team will review each report and award rewards based on the severity of the issue. Vulnerability reports will be eligible for a portion of the Contest’s 1,000 USD monthly rewards pool, alongside other contribution categories.

This contest replaces the outgoing Contribution Contest, marking our shift from USDC to AI3 native token rewards for community contributions.
