随着新的测试网的准备工作开始。taurus 测试网络也将进入倒计时。它的生命也将完成。

丢弃垃圾数据，优化版本迭代。让新的测试网轻装前行。是一件非常让人开心的事情。

但是再最近的两次开发者会议上。也一直没有确定以前的taurus上的tai3是否会予以保留。

对此我发表下我的看法： 我本人不是拥有最多的tai3持有者。但是是拥有大量者之一。

起初我一直在挖tai3的目的。并且深度参与各种测试 各种任务 都是在希望能在里面获得更多的收益。

所以我会关注哪怕每一项细小的测试任务 。我不是义务在工作。作为农民 收益是我首要考虑因素。

所以我囤积了大量tai3 用来做质押任务 XDM任务 。 如果没有利益驱动。我想我不会参与测试网的挖掘。

*因为：我拥有了大量tai3 才在参加质押任务时候。才有兴趣去观察节点被注销后无法赎回。

*不是拥有大量代币 或者非常多的人参与测试。XDM 通道就根本不会堵塞。那么双重铸币根本就不会被发现。

没有人会去关注一个没有奖励的测试，也许就测试1-2次跨链转账就结束了。而最终不会有几百万次的XDM转账导致堵塞通道

以上是我个人观点。下面是我换位思考一下其他重度参与测试网挖矿的农民。

公布了测试网会一直有效的情况下。忽然要重置网络。和很可能不保留任何数据和成果（tai3）的情况下。
将会是对新版测试网的致命打击。等于说：你可以参与测试网挖矿。但是不会有任何成果。 以前是，现在是，将来也是。官方可以在任何时候随意重置
（归零） 农民的任何成果。

那么参与新版测试网的农民 。或者参与测试网其他测试网上测试项目的人。都会有错觉-----也许这个新的测试网也会重置，也会归0
就不会有深度参与的想法。那些只需要小范围测试的项目。就不会有大量的人涌入进来。 进而导致最为需要的压力测试没有压力源。
只有参与的人够多，参与的任务够古怪刁钻。才能让更多BUG体现出来。为主网部署，做好铺垫。

结合以上论点。我提出以下建议：
1.重置taurus 的节点数据，轻装前行，开一个新的测试网，上面进行新的测试任务。但是保留以前的tai3作为下一个测试网的延续。
只有拥有大量的tai3，他们才会关注下一个测试任务，才会去做，才会有压力和 极限 极端状态的表现。

2.对以前的测试网项目 做一个总结。应该分配的奖励与以分配。比如跨越海峡。

3.或者直接对以前拥有tai3的用户按比例奖励。也就是ai3兑换后。下一个测试网采用新的代币。开启新的测试航程

I would like to express my opinion on this: I personally do not have the most Tai3 holders. But it is one of the ones with a large number.

At first, I was digging for the purpose of Tai3. And deeply participating in various tests and tasks is all in the hope of gaining more benefits inside.

So I will pay attention to even every small testing task. I am not obligated to work. As a farmer, income is my primary consideration.

So I hoarded a large amount of Tai3 to do staking tasks XDM tasks. If there is no profit drive. I don’t think I will participate in the mining of the testing network.

*Because I have a large amount of Tai3 to participate in the staking task. I am only interested in observing nodes that cannot be redeemed after being cancelled.

No one will pay attention to a test without rewards, perhaps just testing 1-2 cross chain transfers will end. And ultimately, there won’t be millions of XDM transfers causing blockages in the channel

The above is my personal opinion. Below is my perspective on other farmers who are heavily involved in testing network mining.

It has been announced that the testing website will remain effective. Suddenly need to reset the network. And it is likely that no data or results will be retained (tai3).
It will be a fatal blow to the new version of the testnet. Equivalent to saying: You can participate in test network mining. But there won’t be any results. Previously, now, and in the future. Officially, it can be reset at any time
(Zero) Any achievements of farmers.

So the farmers participating in the new version of the testing network. Or people who participate in other testing projects on the testing network. Everyone will have illusions - perhaps this new test network will also reset and return to 0
There will be no idea of deep involvement. Projects that only require small-scale testing. There won’t be a large influx of people coming in. As a result, the most necessary stress tests lack a source of pressure.
Only when there are enough participants and the tasks involved are strange and tricky enough. Only then can more bugs be revealed. Prepare for the deployment of the main network.

Combining the above arguments. I propose the following suggestions:

  1. Reset Taurus’ node data, move forward lightly, open a new testing network, and perform new testing tasks on it. But keep the previous Tai3 as a continuation of the next test network.
    Only with a large number of Tai3, will they focus on the next testing task, will they do it, and will they exhibit stress and extreme states.

  2. Summarize the previous testnet projects. The rewards that should be allocated and distributed accordingly. For example, crossing a strait.

  3. Alternatively, users who previously owned Tai3 can be rewarded proportionally. That is, after AI3 exchange. The next testnet will adopt a new token. Embark on a new testing journey

The decision has already been made. The Taurus network will be shut down shortly and tAI3 will not be transferred to the new network. There was never any contest to try to accumulate tAI3.

As for the rewards for the Trials of Innovations, they will come at the end. We don’t yet know how many Trials we will have, nor the reward allocation for each one. That will happen all at the end. We have only had two trials so far, so I expect it will be awhile before it is wrapped up.

Farming tokens on the next network shouldn’t be too difficult. Ideally, new contests will focus on participation rather than who has the most tokens.

Firstly, thank you for your reply. I have not been biased towards anything unpleasant on DC.

Secondly, I personally believe that I am a heavy participant and one of the biggest beneficiaries of Taurus. Because I have completed most of the tasks required for testing. You will receive more rewards.

To me. Reset the test network. This is also something I would like to see. I understand that there is a lot of junk data inside. And irreparable issues. The new mainnet or testnet does not require them.

I just want to make it clear: the new testing network also requires more people to test. More meaningful tests. And these tests cannot be completed by one or two people or programmers.

For example, stress testing. These all require more Tai3 and more people to participate.

If I reset the previous Tai3, it actually doesn’t have much impact on me. Because most of my Tai3 have already participated in XDM tasks.

But for the users of the testing network later on. It is a bad prophecy: it may be reset or discarded at any time. There is no difference between participating and not participating. If there is a bug, just wait for it, it’s an official matter anyway.

Anyway, there is no reward for my participation or non participation. I don’t need to put in any effort or effort. And the cost.

A testnet is just that - testing infrastructure that has to be useful to the project.

Testnet tokens have no value and expectations should be that it can be reset (including balances) as necessary.

Testing the particular behaviours we need to focus on requires incentivisation as you’ve stated and we’ve always been transparent that accumulating a big bag of TAI3 would not necessarily bring an advantage to Game of Domains participation. There’s also a counter argument to say that more participation would be attracted due to a level playing field.

For operators and nominators, the goal is to reward breadth of participation rather than depth. This means that having lots of tAI3 on Taurus does not automatically grant an advantage. Ultimately, Game of Domains has some goals to test and we will be working on ways to align incentives with the behavior we want to see rather than proportional to stake as in the original Stake Wars. More details on the exact mechanics will be released before the start of stage 1 though the rules may evolve as the testing plays out.
