Auditing the Incentivized Testnet Rewards
Recently we announced that the Subspace Foundation are hosting preview incentivized testnet rewards spreadsheets in a repo on their GitHub organization. The data came with some caveats regarding precision and that there would be a slicker experience for testnet farmers to be delivered in our explorer Astral. It was provided to avoid delaying the start of the community audit.
We’re excited to announce that the Astral Rewards Checker is now fully operational and ready for you to use! Thank you all for your patience as we finalized this streamlined experience for verifying your testnet rewards.
What’s New?
The figures have changed very slightly and we want to provide transparency on why that has happened.
Enhanced Precision
We’ve recalculated the rewards with greater precision, ensuring more accurate figures than before.
Final Balances Rounded Up
To keep things simple and ensure fairness, everyone’s final reward balance has been rounded up to the nearest whole token. This means no one will receive less than what they’re due!
Spreadsheet Updated
The Subspace Foundation GitHub repository has been updated accordingly to reflect these changes. There is now a single spreadsheet which contains all the calculations in one place. You can still access it for reference, but we recommend checking your final rewards directly through the Astral Rewards Checker.
Aggregated Allocation Checker
The Astral rewards checker allows you to check the aggregated allocation for all of your wallets using the “Connect more Wallets” button, and then selecting a different wallet in the dropdown
What Do You Need to Do?
Simply head over to Astral and connect your wallet to see your finalized testnet rewards.
