How audit works for multi farms in 3g?

I want to understand how audit work if I have multiple farms? Is it done sequential from farm 0 to the last farm; or is it done all farms at once?

Also, is there any log when proof fetch is late so farmers like us can quickly know and fix?

All at once, each with specified number of farming threads in parallel using blocking I/O.

Yes, all cases where farmer generates poof too late will result in warnings on node and/or farmer, so check both.
