Autonomys Mainnet Launched by the Subspace Foundation

Autonomys Mainnet Has Launched!

Today, we made history together.

The Autonomys mainnet is now officially live, marking the beginning of a new era for decentralized, human-centric AI and blockchain. This is a moment of celebration, and it belongs to each and every one of you who helped bring this vision to life. From our early testnets to this powerful mainnet launch, we’ve come a long way - and this is just the start!

The Launch: Powered by Our Community

In today’s Mainnet Launch Party, the Subspace Foundation kicked off the Space Race with the Launchpad phase. This process set the foundation for a network designed to support a resilient, global community. The proof-of-time seed ceremony used the Bitcoin block #869146, creating the entropy necessary for a secure launch, with the following value:

Entropy: 00000000000000000000d695f8a14ff24a8dfb68245cec4a4b6787de86e232fe

You can track network activity on the live telemetry dashboard, where you can view the mainnet’s progress and explore its health in real-time.

Getting Started: Run Commands

For those ready to join mainnet, you can find the necessary builds on GitHub. Here are the current commands for running a node and farmer:

Node Command:

./subspace-node run --chain mainnet --base-path PATH --sync full --pot-external-entropy 00000000000000000000d695f8a14ff24a8dfb68245cec4a4b6787de86e232fe --farmer

Farmer Command:

./subspace-farmer farm --reward-address ADDR path=PATH,size=SIZE

Please note: it is very important that you have your ports open or forwarded to allow seamless connectivity and network health. In upcoming builds of Space Acres and the Advanced CLI, the Proof-of-Time parameter (--pot-external-entropy) will be baked into the chainspec, so it will no longer be required on the command line - just another step toward a more streamlined experience for everyone.

A Journey of Innovation and Community

Launching this mainnet is the culmination of an incredible journey. Autonomys has grown from an ambitious idea to a fully realized, decentralized platform because of the passion, commitment, and belief of our community. When we started, we envisioned more than just another blockchain or storage protocol; we dreamed of a resilient network where decentralization and human autonomy take center stage.

For me personally, this journey began with curiosity and a sense of possibility. Discovering Autonomys meant entering a world where transparency, innovation, and community mattered deeply. From our first testnets - Aries and Gemini - to the robust mainnet we see today, each phase taught us valuable lessons and brought us closer to this moment. And now, with mainnet live, our vision for a decentralized foundation for AI3.0 is taking flight.

Autonomys isn’t just about technology; it’s about building a new kind of ecosystem where users are creators, agents, and advocates. We’re proving that innovation can come from the many, not the few, and that together, we’re forging a future of true autonomy. With every node, every farmer, and every contributor, this network has become a powerful, community-driven achievement. Let’s continue to show the world that Autonomys is here, and that we’re just getting started.

The Path Ahead: Lift-off and Beyond

While today is a milestone, it’s also a launchpad - literally! Data will be seeded onto the network over the next few days then next week, we’ll gather once again for the Lift-off phase of the Space Race. This will be the next big step, enabling block authoring by any farmer, setting the Space Race target and kicking off the space race proper.

Our journey continues, with a special invitation to join us for the Lift-off call and be part of a pivotal moment in the network’s expansion. Mark your calendars and get ready to go further with us as we accelerate toward Escape Velocity!

Together, let’s keep building the future of autonomy, AI, and decentralized innovation. Thank you for being part of this journey, and here’s to what’s next!

UPDATE: The build with the entropy seed baked in is already available!

You can find it here.

Using this build means you can drop the --pot-external-entropy and --sync parameters from the CLI command.

And mainnet Space Acres builds are now available.

Congratulations to us Jim, it has been a long time coming.
