HackSecret 5 Hackathon Overview

Hackathon Overview

We’re excited to share a recap of HackSecret 5, our cutting-edge AI and blockchain hackathon that took place from February 1st to March 1st online, and February 24th to March 1st, 2025 at ETHDenver. This collaborative event brought together developers from across the Web3 ecosystem to build innovative applications at the intersection of AI, privacy, and decentralization.

HackSecret 5 showcased the powerful combination of Secret Network’s privacy focused AI (Secret AI) capabilities and Autonomys Network’s advanced agent frameworks and storage solutions. With $15,000 in prizes across multiple tracks, developers had the opportunity to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the Web3 + AI space.

Co-sponsors

This hackathon was proudly co-sponsored by:

  • Secret Network: Pioneers in decentralized confidential computing (DeCC) and Secret AI, enabling encrypted data applications across multiple blockchains
  • Autonomys Network: Leaders in decentralized agent frameworks and permanent storage solutions
Quai Network: Builders at the intersection of energy, finance and AI

ETHDenver Hacker House

As part of ETHDenver, we hosted a dedicated HackSecret Hacker House. Our space provided developers with:

  • Daily workshop sessions from industry experts
  • One-on-one support from Autonomys Network and Secret Network DevRel teams
  • Comfortable workspace
  • Daily lunch, snacks, and refreshments
  • Networking opportunities with like-minded builders

The Hacker House was open from noon to 6PM daily, giving participants ample time to collaborate, learn, and build their projects.

Hackathon Tracks

1. Secret AI dApps

Participants built applications utilizing Secret Network’s Secret AI SDK, an advanced security layer that integrates with Langchain’s ChatOllama for secure and efficient API interactions. The Secret AI SDK ensures that AI interactions remain private and protected against unauthorized access.

2. Unstoppable AI Agents

Using Autonomys Network’s Agents Framework, developers created agents capable of interacting with social networks while maintaining permanent, verifiable memory on-chain. This track focused on transparency and verifiability in AI agent interactions.

3. Build with Auto Drive

This track challenged participants to revolutionize data permanence using Autonomys Network’s Auto Drive, a next-generation distributed storage platform. Developers built applications ensuring data is always accessible, immutable, and secure without traditional pinning services.

4. Cross-Chain dApps

For this track, developers built applications on various blockchains (Cosmos, EVM, Solana) while utilizing Secret Network’s Confidential Computing Layer. Cross-chain communication was achieved via SecretPath, Axelar GMP, or IBC.

Workshop Highlights

Throughout the week, we hosted numerous workshops including:

  • Creating Private On-Chain Agents Using Secret AI SDK
  • Autonomys 101: Intro to the AI3.0 Infrastructure Stack
  • Using TEE for Decentralized Confidential Computing
  • Building On-Chain Blind Auctions on ETH L2 Using Solidity
  • The Synergies of Multiparty Computation & TEE Encryption Models
  • Secret Network’s Confidential Computation in EVM and Solana Applications
  • Autonomys 102: Using the Auto SDK for Permanent Distributed Storage
  • Autonomys 103: Building Unstoppable Agents with the Auto Agents Framework

The recordings of these workshops will shortly be available on our YouTube channel!

Thank You to All Participants!

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in HackSecret 5. The creativity, technical skills, and innovative thinking displayed throughout the hackathon were truly inspiring.

HackSecret 5 - Winners Announcement

Thank You to All Participants!

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in HackSecret 5! The hackathon was a tremendous success, and we were blown away by the creativity, technical prowess, and innovative thinking displayed in all submissions.

Each application was carefully reviewed by our panel of Autonomys Network judges who evaluated projects based on innovation, technical implementation, practical utility, and alignment with the hackathon tracks.

Selecting winners was incredibly challenging given the exceptional quality of submissions we received. After much deliberation, we’re excited to announce the following winners:

Autonomys Track Winners

Track 1: Unstoppable AI Agents with Autonomys Agents Framework

This track challenged developers to create agents that can interact with social networks while maintaining permanent, verifiable memory on-chain through the Autonomys Network.

:trophy: Winner: AgentMint.AI platform by Blockchain Oracle

Prize: $3,000

AgentMint.AI is an innovative platform that combines blockchain technology with artificial intelligence to create and manage meme coins and Agents across multiple blockchains.

Congratulations to Blockchain Oracle!

Track 2: Build with Auto Drive - Permanent Decentralized Storage

This track focused on revolutionizing data permanence with Autonomys Network’s Auto Drive, challenging developers to build innovative applications that leverage this next-generation distributed storage platform.

:trophy: Winners: The prize pool of $2,000 is split across two projects

1. Decentralized Collaborative File Repository (DCFR) by HaryStyleseze

Prize: $1,000 DCFR gives users control over file access through collective DAO governance, ensuring privacy and resistance to censorship. The application leverages Auto Drive’s permanent storage capabilities to store files securely, while access is granted only to approved members based on DAO decisions, protecting sensitive data from unauthorized viewing.

2. Autonomous Copilot by IPFS force

Prize: $1,000 Autonomous Copilot is an AI-powered data management and decision-making tool built on the Autonomys Network, designed to help users securely store fragmented data while making informed decisions. By leveraging the Autonomys Distributed Storage Network (DSN), Autonomous Copilot ensures long-term data persistence and efficient data processing. The project exemplifies how Auto Drive can be integrated with AI to create intelligent data management solutions that preserve information integrity indefinitely.

Congratulations to both HaryStyleseze and IPFS force!

Honorable Mentions

These projects stood out significantly and were very close to scoring a winner position in the Hackathon:

Aetherlink

The AetherLink Protocol (based on the ai3:// protocol) is a decentralized content access standard designed to enable seamless content discovery and retrieval from decentralized networks. Initially focusing on integrating with the Autonomys network, it leverages a unified URL format that binds user identities to content identifiers (CIDs) through smart contracts.

PixelLock Vault

PixelLock Vault is a decentralized photo storage application that ensures photos remain permanently available and securely encrypted. Unlike IPFS, PixelLock Vault guarantees continuous accessibility while maintaining top-tier security.

Conflux-AI: Privacy-Preserving Collaborative AI Trading Platform

Conflux-AI harnesses Secret Network, Secret AI, and Autonomys AutoDrive to enable crypto traders to collaboratively train private ML models and drive autonomous trading with transparent profit sharing — ensuring data stays private while benefiting from collective intelligence. This powerful combination of technologies demonstrates the potential for privacy-preserving AI in financial applications.

Thanks again to all participants!

Please follow our announcements and join us for upcoming workshops and developer engagement events. We’re incredibly excited to see how these projects evolve and can’t wait to see what you all build next!
