The Governance team proposes to remove the ad-hoc Agenda Team that was originally contemplated in the bylaws.
The original design was overly complicated and it does not seem to be useful or necessary to add the Agenda Team bureaucracy. To make this change, we will amend the bylaws as follows:
In Article 2, remove the section titled “Representatives.”, replace with “Section removed by GA Vote [date]”
In Article 3, remove the section titled “Agenda Team.”, replace with “Section removed by GA Vote [date]”
In Article 4, replace the section titled “Agenda.” with this text:
Agenda. Proposals needing a General Assembly vote must first be approved by a majority of the Governance Team. Approved items must be publicly announced at least two weeks before a General Assembly vote.
In Article 4, remove the section titled “Scheduling.”
The General Assembly voted in favor of adopting the changes.
