Mainnet Phase-2 Roadmap - April Update

The Path to Mainnet Phase-2

As we approach Mainnet Phase-2, our progress continues to be steady and purposeful. The most significant blocker currently remains the ongoing security audit in collaboration with SR Labs, as security remains our foremost priority. To stay transparent with our community, we’ve provided real-time tracking links below, allowing you to follow the audit’s status closely.

In parallel, we’re progressing with the essential preparations for token listings, another critical milestone requiring careful coordination. Updates on our strategic plans for listings are provided in the dedicated Marketing Track section. We’re committed to timely, accurate communication and will update the community immediately when these final critical items reach completion.

Foundation Track

  • Ecosystem Grants Program

The backend infrastructure for our grants program is now complete and being integrated into a polished, brand-new Subspace Foundation website set to launch alongside Mainnet Phase-2. We’re collaborating closely with our design partners to ensure everything is in place for maximum impact when we make the big announcement.

If you have an idea that clearly adds value to the Autonomys ecosystem, please reach out and share it with us. We’re planning an initial test run of the application process with an exciting early submission, which we believe will showcase the program’s potential.

  • Stakeholder Claim Site

We’ve completed another thorough round of QA on our stakeholder claim site, this time focusing specifically on differentiated workflows tailored to each stakeholder group. The testing has gone smoothly, keeping us firmly on track. We anticipate no blockers arising from this important component.

Engineering Track

  • Agent Framework

The Auto Agents framework continues to evolve with multiple developer experience improvements, streamlining the onboarding and operational workflow for builders. Our recent Developer Office Hours featured Saeid, who walked through several key updates:

    • agent-os (formerly autoOS)
      • Simplifies agent creation significantly - developers can now spin up an agent project with a single command:

        agent-os init <name-of-agent>

No need to clone repositories manually.

      • Integrated MCP, Tool, and Agent registries are now live! Developers can easily publish their own MCP/tools directly using the CLI, with data stored seamlessly on our DSN and Auto EVM domains.

      • Offers straightforward installation for specific MCPs/tools, improving modularity and flexibility for builders.

    • agent-core
      • All underlying logic has been abstracted into a single package, removing complexity for developers. This means builders no longer need deep knowledge of underlying frameworks - just connect and deploy their custom MCPs/tools effortlessly.

To quickly start building your own agent, utilize the Autonomys Agent Template or initiate directly via the agent-os CLI. Read more on the Developer Hub.

  • Audit

The audit continues to be the most significant item on our critical path. We are actively collaborating with SR Labs to resolve remaining P1 issues. Regular progress updates are available during our Developer Sync calls. Note that priority tags can change as we implement fixes and make decisions about day 1, Mainnet Phase-2 feature prioritization. To track the audit process in real-time, you can view:

Due to contractual obligations, we are unable to announce the exchanges ahead of time and only within a range of 1-7 days prior to the official listing.

However each exchange will feature Autonomys within several launch programs that are designed to attract new users, incentivize initial liquidity, and provide an early access for the broader Web3 community into the Autonomys Network.

Our goal with the CEXs is to provide adequate market access for all AI3 users worldwide.

Product Track

  • Usability Testing for Staking

This past week we conducted internal usability tests to establish benchmarks for our staking/nomination process. The feedback is being interpreted and we have started the process of making user-driven improvements to the staking/nominating process on Astral. We expect to continue improving the flow with additional rounds of user testing both internally as well as with cohorts of our existing external network participants.

  • Data Focused Experience

We continue to work closely with multiple integration partners on these efforts. We are currently scoping experiments that we expect to validate in the coming weeks. The result of these experiments will allow us to move forward together with our partners to launch multiple data focused agentic products. We expect to have multiple parties collaborating on these efforts, creating ecosystem interoperability, with the Autonomys product team leading the way.

Partnerships Track
